some features to help you get better at numerical tests
PRACTISE NUMERICAL REASONING TESTS FOR INTERVIEWS AND ASSESSMENT DAYS
Numerical (or Numeracy) Tests for job assessments are popular across the world -
whether UKCAT, SAT, GMAT EU
EPSO, Banking, Civil Service or Management / Strategy Consulting careers.
Strength in numerical skills is key to acing these tests, exams and interviews.
Business judgment and numerical reasoning tests and case
interviews for strategy /
management consulting firms like McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Booz, ATK, Monitor,
Accenture, quantitative aptitude tests in banks like Goldman, Deutsche, JP
Morgan, Credit Suisse, UBS, BOA, Amex, Barclays, Barcap, tests for Accountancies
like E&Y, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte and assessments for industry companies (Shell, BP,
Boots, ASDA, Dunnhumby, Grant Thornton, Dixons...) are often conducted by test
makers like SHL, PSL, Kenexa etc and all these involve numerical skills.
TAKE ADVANTAGES OF OUR TOOLS TO BECOME BETTER AT NUMERICAL TESTING
Get targeted practice with our test
modes and tests (primer, forex, shortcuts), take
advantage of our comprehensive analysis, have a go at our infinite basic math
simulator, take
a peek at how others are doing, read
tips and useful 'shortcuts' to
problem solving, use our learning aid mode to improve, bookmark and re-do
questions, learn shortcuts and tricks... Everything
is designedto help you get better in what you do. Doing
tests, analysing your weakness and working on them is what makes you better -
not just doing a bunch of tests
the "infinite" math simulator for flexing numerical brain power
The 'mathsim' throws virtually an "infinite" number of simple, basic mathematical
questions at you. It's a way for you to get some solid exercise on division, multiplication,
addition, ratios, percentages - and the questions keep changing as long as you want.
It's a great way to practice numbers as a run-up to proper tests. Do a few hundred
of them and you're mind will get much sharper with numbers, and that's key to success
in numerical/data interpretation/quantitative/numeracy tests.
Whether you're facing data interpretation tests, numerical case studies, problem
solving or data sufficiency - strength in quick numerical calculations will carry
you a long way and help make an impression.

Powerful test results analysis with charts
numericalguru provides some powerful charts to analyze your performance. Do a free
test and see it for yourself. Let's take for example this test analysis chart below
- just one of the graphs, and see how useful it is, this graph shows your test performance
on a question to question basis. the X axis is questions - a red bar means you got
it wrong, a green means you got it right, grey means not attempted. The height of
the bar shows the time you spent on a question. With just one glance you can see
how you progressed through the tests, where you wasted time, what you got wrong!
And oh, did we forget to mention that you can click on a bar and go to the question
so you can review it?. Cool, huh?
Question bookmarking for review
Isn't it annoying that you do these tests and you want to mark some questions for
future review but there's really no way to do it? You then forget the question,
or it's just hard to get back to it. Not here - we have a nice bookmarking feature,
sort of like gmail and other places you may have seen. As you do a test, let's say
you found a question hard, or you just want to revisit it. Just click on the bookmark
star, and that question appears on your dashboard. Review it, and unstar it to remove.
Simple. but very effective for reviewing!
